Lorinda Chung MD, MS

Dr. Lorinda Chung is a Professor of Medicine specializing in Immunology, Rheumatology, as well as Professor of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Chung is the Director of Stanford’s Scleroderma Program and Co-Director of its Multi-disciplinary Rheumatologic Dermatology Clinic with Dr. David Fiorentino. Currently, Dr. Chung is involved in clinical, translational, and epidemiologic research on systemic sclerosis and related connective tissue diseases. She is also a principal investigator for multiple clinical trials of new potential therapies for scleroderma patients. Among her many research interests in scleroderma, Dr. Chung is studying the genetics of severe calcinosis in scleroderma.
